Day 4

Create a Pixel Stretch Image!

Today we start exploring Raster vs. Vector-based image editing.

Download & install GIMP (raster-based image editor, like Photoshop, but free). If you cannot run GIMP on your laptop, borrow a CS laptop (GIMP is already installed). Use CMD+Space to search for GIMP.

Use Creative Commons to search for an image you can modify, adapt or build on. Be sure you note the URL (web address), so you can give credit in your padlet.

Reflect: Upload your pixel stretch image to your padlet and reflect – Give credit for where you found image. What did you do? What did you learn?
